Information about SMP-Long Website: http://www.shannonville.com/ Email Address: info@shannonville.com Shannonville Motorsports Park (SMP) is the most popular track in Canada, partially due to its proximity to Toronto, and the numerous available layouts. SMP is considered one of the safest facilities in the country, because of the flat topography and generous run-off room in most corners. The track surface has sufferred from high powered cars, and some of the corners are quite bumpy. Some recent repaving (especially in corners 2, 3, 11 and 15) has helped this situation. The track can be configured four different ways. The Nelson and Fabi track can be run at the same time. Long Track: Using all the track surfaces, this 4km, 14 corner track is demanding, with both high and low speed corners. Pro Track: Using the perimter of the facility this is a fast track, 2.5km long. Nelson Track: The original circuit, this is a busy and aggressive track, 1.8km long. Fabi Track: A technical track, with a long front straight; 2.2km long. SMP has full facilities; snack bar, camping, restrooms, showers and some limited electrical plug-ins. It's located about 2 hours east of Toronto, and 15 minutes east of Belleville.
